VISUALS: Curren$y ft. Pharrell * The Making of “Chasing Paper”

It’s always cool to see a song being made behind the scenes … can’t say Spitta and Pharrell is the most ideal of collabs, but the work turned out smooth and the visuals are dope.

This clip shows Curren$y, along with Pharrell, in Miami over 24 hours recording “Chasing Paper” off of his first official studio album, The Stoned Immaculate.

SpotLight: Pharrell Williams

Super Producer. Music Artist. Fashion/Style Icon. Creative Genius. The resume is impressive. Here we’ll put a spotlight on three aspects to Skateboard P’s career: music production, his discography and the mark he made on street wear. *Neptune sound*

Forefather of Modern-Day Swag

Many of the styles Pharrell was rockin’ in ’03 are popular today. That whole “I’m a rapper that’s gonna try to skateboard” thing? … He created that lane. Let’s not forget he was deemed “Best Dressed Man” by Esquire in 2005, and co-founded BBC and Ice Cream. He’s also got ‘collabos’ with Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Domeau & Pérès (dope!), G-Shock and the list goes on …
